Video of my talk: Thinking Outside the Box IS the New Box

The "god terms" of world societies have an "inherent potency"
                                                                                          - Richard M. Weaver

At the request of a group of Rensselaer students last May I delivered a Ted-ish "TALK" in a new series of short lectures by the university's faculty.  My topic was "Thinking Outside the Box IS the New Box."  You'll see that I poke fun at one of the untouchable sacred cows of our era.

Now a video of my remarks has been released by Rensselaer along with the other lectures offered that afternoon.

An illustrated transcription and Soundcloud recording of my presentation was prepared by RPI graduate students in the Department of Science and Technology Studies: Dan Lyles, Ben Brucato and Taylor Dotson.  Many thanks guys!

I like the style and contents of your talk.
I have authored a new global proposal for the solution to all of our intertwined global problems.
Set up a global auction for naming rights to anthropogenic global warming.
Winning bids, sure to be in the tens of billions, liely tax-writeoffable, would go to the large multinational corporations who can trademark their names alongside the AGW they have worked so hard to usher in.
This is done for large sporting venues, for parks and public broadcasting and art museums, and for large buildings on the RPI campus, seemingly for for every fromer public space under the sun - why not for the ultimate product they assiduously work so hard to fashion?
For example, Google-Monsanto-Disney_Santander Climate Change - to become the trademark, exclusive official world name for climate change - innovative, disruptive, cap-and-tradish?
